He is a family man who values spending time with his son, Mason, and enjoys being in the outdoors, particularly golfing, fishing, diving and attending football games. In 2019, Gary was selected to play in the Annexus Pro-Am at the Waste Management Phoenix Open which is the highest-attended golf tournament held in Scottsdale, Arizona. That year he was grouped with PGA pro Xander Schauffele.
